Kenya Launch A Fantastic Success!

eBSI, Investeq Capital and IFC are delighted to announce the launch of the IFC FIT Initiative in Kenya. Thanks to the assistance of localregional partners and leading Trade FInance Consulting Firm Investeq Capital a very exciting event was held with over 80 participants from Kenya and the surrounding region attened the event.

The Launch which will took place in Nairobi at the Crowne Plaza, Nairobi, on 21 May 2010 at 5.30 pm included representatives from the Government of Japan who have kindly funded the regional launch of the IFC FIT Initiative in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burudi in East Africa.

Mr. Dan Awendo, Managing Director of Investeq Capital, the regional; partner of eBSI for this project highlighted the strategic importance to both East African Financial Institutions involved in Trade and their trading customer of this elearning Program. Mrs Gimhane Talwatte of IFC seconded this and added that leveraging multiple channels for capacity building among IFC Target clients is of fundamental importamce to ensure maximum impact of IFC Activities.
